Our Founder – Mr. Dale Cox (Director of Cadre Security Group)

dale_cox_Cadre_Security_GroupFor the past 35 years, Mr. Cox has dedicated his professional life to the service of his country in law enforcement, investigative and security disciplines.

The breadth of his distinguished career in varied assignments culminated in his decision to start Cadre Security Group (CSG). During this time, Mr. Cox has garnered the licenses required for CSG to conduct business as a security and private investigations company. In addition, he is licensed to certify individuals for concealed weapons permits in South Carolina and Utah and is also certified to instruct levels I, II and III security officers.

Prior to his initiating CSG, Mr. Cox directed the security for the US Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq where he performed with distinction for a period of three years. Mr. Cox directed all required activities for a shift of 473 security officers and 10 Security Site Leads. He was responsible for the safety and security of all personnel and equipment located at the US Embassy and interacted daily with US State Department Regional Security Office, US Marshals, Federal Bureau of Investigations and other federal agencies located at the embassy. While serving in this capacity, Mr. Cox was charged with selecting, screening and assigning over 300 security personnel to the various duties and posts associated with the total security of the embassy complex.

Additionally, Mr. Cox has served in several law enforcement capacities ranging from investigative, homicide detective and undercover work to serving as the Chief of Police in two South Carolina jurisdictions.
